Our Church Safety Program
is designed to provide protection for you and your children during services
and religious education. It is unfortunate that we must take such steps,
but I think you will agree that the world has become a more dangerous place.
Just a reminder, Five (5) minutes after Mass begins,
all exterior doors will be locked with the exception of our front door and kitchen hall door.
Get to Mass on time and in addition to these measures, the door at the top of the steps
leading into the Religious Education wing will also be locked five (5) minutes after classes begin.
Get your children to class on time to avoid entrance through our other doors.
Wilson County continues to have homeless problem,
and local churches are planning once again to make a difference this winter.
Emergency Shelters at Wilson County Churches
December 1, 2016 - March 15, 2017
Wilson County churches are working together to help serve for 15 weeks this winter.
We are gearing up and preparing for the 4th season of Compassionate Hands Ministry and
will once again be providing a hot meal and housing for the homeless each night beginning in
December. St. Frances Cabrini has been asked again this year to participate and provide a
Sunday night meal each week over these 15 weeks. Our meals which we will cook
and then take and serve at Cross Style church located on Trinity Lane, here in Lebanon.
Last year we had enough people who volunteered, we were able to divide up
into groups/teams and each group/team cooked once a month.
Just as Deacon Hector mentioned in his Homily this past Sunday,
"In the meantime, keep in mind that a humble attitude comes from the
heart. So place yourself as a servant of the community rather than as a leader
and immerse yourself in the spirit of generosity and you will be exulted".
This is just one of the ways to help others in our community.
This is a wonderful outreach ministry and promises those who volunteer will be truly blessed.
If you're interested in volunteering by cooking and serving,
please call or email Nikki at the church office 615-444-0524 or email@example.com.
Mark your calendar for Sunday, November 6th for a meeting for all volunteers.
We will meet at 9:45 A.M. in the church.

and Homebound Ministry
This ministry is an important role in our parish and we
want to nourish it with a more coordinated approach to our
hospitalized and homebound parishioners
so that our Eucharistic Ministers of Holy Communion will
know that we as a church are behind them in offering our
prayers and support.
If you know of a parishioner who would benefit from this
ministry, please call the church office at 444-0524 or
email Nikki at firstname.lastname@example.org
with their name and we will gladly contact them so that
they can begin
receiving Holy Communion from one of our
parishioners on the Hospital & Homebound Ministry.
